WHO ARE WE?

In April 1999, Andrew Wheeler of Salisbury, England and Doe Kelly of Colorado, USA ended a four year "intercontinental courtship" and dance between countries, by marrying in Salisbury. They had met synchronistically, through the crop circles, in the summer of 1995 (see more ABOUT US in the column to the right). Andrew became a "Resident Alien" of the U.S. the following November (with a "little green card"!). Sometime after Andrew came to Colorado to live, the couple began offering a variety of out-of-the-ordinary (and perhaps, "out of this world"), unique and interesting products for sale, culminating in the creation of The Center For The Future and this website. Out of their shared interests and experiences with crop circles, sacred sites, and alternative health, Doe and Andrew created this business as a way of sharing their knowledge, as well as their passion for alternative solutions, by offering products and services that they found to be valuable and life-enhancing.

ABOUT THE CENTER FOR THE FUTURE

The seed concept for The Center For The Future came during the late 90s, as Doe experienced a series of unusual healing sessions inside a large copper dodecahedron (from which hung small, individual "metaforms") on a massage table, topped with an "ascension pad" which incorporated sacred geometries and magnets. In an altered and enhanced state of awareness, she envisioned humanity moving from the present allopathic model of medicine (with its sometimes awkward and invasive techniques, as well as pervasive drug culture) to a more elegant model of healing, utilizing an amazing assortment of less recognized methods - energy tools and vibrational therapies, essential oils, light devices, color, nutritional enhancement, gemstones, thought and belief re-evaluations, sound and music. It would be in this realm that new forms of healing would be discovered and even re-discovered, and a quantum model of healing and consciousness finally be given its full due. The Center For The Future lives now in cyber-space, on this website, and in the daily lives and imaginations of Doe and Andrew, but it also lives on the etheric level, until such time as it is manifested in three dimensions as a fleshed-out, full-fledged, futuristic center for the exploration and implementation of new and innovative forms of healing and life enhancement.

A SHORT HISTORY IN THE LIFE OF....
Andrew Wheeler - Born near a ley line in 1958 on the southern outskirts of the medieval city of Salisbury in southern England, Andrew, until recently, had spent most of his life living locally, just eight miles from the world famous monument of Stonehenge. After being educated at three Salisbury schools he went on to spend nineteen years working in the banking industry. In 1996, he left the constraints of the nine to five work existence to experience a new way of being. He emigrated to Colorado in 1999, where he currently lives with his wife, Doe, with whom he runs "The Center For The Future". Andrew has always been interested in discovering the mysteries of life, from the paranormal and UFOs, to our human history and metaphysics. He also has a keen interest in alternative health and in the implementation of new paradigms for the improvement of society. Other interests include photography, writing, travel and music, his favorite coming from the English band, Pink Floyd. To date he has become a self-published author having so far written one book "The Hapless American Tourist Guide To The Crop Circles & Sacred Sites of Southern England" with more on the way when he can find the time.

Doe Kelly - as far as she can tell was not born near a ley line(!), but instead, was born and raised in the "Bluegrass Country" of central Kentucky. She was singled out at age five as a gifted child singer and was involved in music all the way through school. At age eighteen, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she eventually gained a degree in voice performance. Moving to New York City in the early '80s to continue vocal studies, she sang operatic roles "off-off Broadway", and worked as a singer, delivering singing telegrams, and being a paid church soloist and "ringer". She created a successful, mostly seasonal acappella group, that enjoyed a 30 second Christmas Eve "cameo appearance" on Good Morning America, and clients that included the Plaza and Waldorf-Astoria Hotels. During her time in New York, she further developed her passion for alternative healing, spirituality, and metaphysics, becoming trained in breath and relationship work, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and receiving Reiki initiation (she is currently a Reiki level III).

Doe's passion for travel, spirituality, photography and music led her to sing and photograph at a variety of locations worldwide. She gained recognition for both music and photography throughout her life, receiving various awards along the way. She has two musical albums, In The Key Of Om, a meditative offering, and The Gift, Christmas In Story & Song. Her photographic themes include mystical sites, angels, mysterious land and sky-scapes, crop circles, and ancient sacred places. Her major life influences include training(s) in metaphysics, performing arts, breathwork, relationships, spirituality (including mystical experiences in India and Nepal), travels to England, the Dalai Lama, and significant synchronicities! She left the East Coast, returning to Colorado in 1989, and in 1995, while visiting England's crop circles and sacred sites, met her future husband, Andrew, in Glastonbury, England!

Andrew Wheeler & Doe Kelly share some of their story......
Andrew: I was doing some soul searching, looking for a greater purpose to my life than just going "round on a carousel", ie, the nine to five world of work, when I met Doe, who is now my wife, in the summer of 1995. I had placed an ad in the Nexus Magazine from Australia, which had a circulation encompassing not only Australia, but also Britain and the U.S. The Nexus Magazine continues to this day, providing excellent reading on such subjects as suppressed technologies, UFOs, crop circles, spirituality, conspiracy, secret history, alternative healing and devices. My ad was for forming a local reader's group of "like-minds" in my geographical region. To my disappointment, I only received two local responses to my ad, but to my surprise, I also received letters in the mail from Australia, Scotland, and two from Colorado�. hardly local, I thought! One of these letters, for some reason, caught my attention. It was from a singer / photographer named Doe in Colorado, who was looking for an inexpensive place to stay in southern England. Intrigued by Doe�s credentials, I responded and invited her to rent my spare room. Needless to say, after a few short weeks the rent gave way to romance in the (by then) harvested crop circles of that late summer season. Well, I did not end up with my local Nexus readers group, I instead ended up with a new life, a new home, and an American wife!
Doe: I had determined to travel to England to "check out those 'pesky crop circles' for myself", having been keenly aware and interested in them since they gained some international notoriety in the early 90s.........I had been working in a metaphysical bookstore in Boulder, CO, and we used to get in the latest videos on what was going on in the peculiar, "Alice In Wonderland" world of crop circles in Southern England........it was fascinating!! So when I sold my mountain home for a goodly profit, in November of '94, it gave me the opportunity I had been waiting for, to go the following summer to see what all this fuss was about! In March I decided I had better start collecting some leads to help me on my journey, and where better to look than the Nexus Magazine from Australia?! I had been responsible for getting the bookstore to carry it in the first place.......so, I marched right over to the magazine stand, opened up the current issue to the classifieds, and immediately saw two ads which instantly captivated me: "1995 Glastonbury Symposium, Crop Circles & Signs Of Our Times" and the second ad, "Reader's Group Wanted, Please Reply to Andrew Wheeler, Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK". "Hmmm, Wiltshire", I thought. Only a few days before, my crop circle researcher friend had told me that Wiltshire was where all the crop circles appeared. "I'll keep this guy's name and address, he may be a resource for me" I thought, tucking his information away, to be brought out again a few months later when I realized "if I am to go to England, then I had better get my ducks in a row, it's already June!"

And thus was born the roller coaster adventure that has been our life, first apart, and then ultimately, together, living in Colorado, USA.
